Rabbits
have 100 million receptors to help them
smell odors and humans only have 5 or 6 million.
A rabbit can identify you by your smell.
Bunnies
can smell when a strange animal or human comes into its
territory.
Rabbits twitch their noses from 20-120 times per minute to expose more
sensory pads to detect smells.
When a bunny is really relaxed their nose stops twitching.
Rabbits sniff each other when they meet to tell how old the
other rabbit is, whether it is ready to mate and to see who is the top cat
(rabbit that is).
